Chaplains of Idaho is a non-profit 501(C)(3) charitable tax-exempt organization committed to serving those in crisis. Chaplains of Idaho provides Law Enforcement, Fire and Community Chaplains who serve on scene of trauma and crisis situations. Our agency is dedicated to providing chaplaincy services to first responders and the communities they serve in Idaho. We believe that compassion is an essential component of overall well-being — especially after crisis or trauma, and we are committed to supporting first responders and the communities they serve through difficult times.
We work closely with local first responder agencies to provide chaplaincy services on-scene, as well as provide ongoing support to individuals and families in need. Our Chaplains are dispatched by police and fire agencies to serve members of the community and first responders. Chaplains of Idaho also serve Search & Rescue, Military Service Members, Veterans and their families. Chaplains have a long history of providing support to first responders and those in crisis situations. Our team of chaplains is highly trained and experienced in providing emotional and either secular or spiritual support (upon request) to individuals facing crisis or trauma.

We're still growing!
We've had an overwhelming response from the community and the agencies we first partnered with, and the word is out! In 2022 alone, we've tripled in size, and we haven't slowed down. In addition to providing our services to local and regional Police, Fire, and Healthcare agencies, we now also serve Search & Rescue teams, Military Service Members, Veterans, and any of their families.
We now serve more than 12 agencies across 6 counties — and climbing!
We take our training seriously.
We believe that training is an essential component of providing high-quality chaplaincy services. That's why we offer ongoing training programs for our chaplains, as well as training opportunities for other professionals interested in providing spiritual care in crisis situations.
Constitutional Chaplains provide a “Secular Purpose” and do not promote or inhibit any one religion. Constitutional Chaplains are not permitted to proselytize without a specific request from the person receiving services.
Our training programs cover a wide range of topics, including —
